He was named on the top 10 academic spine surgeons in the US list and was recently re-elected and currently serving as the President of American College of Spine Surgery.

Dr. Lu's clinical focus is on minimally invasive techniques in the surgical management of degenerative, traumatic, neoplastic, and spinal disorders. His research efforts are focused on the molecular biology and regenerative treatment of traumatic spinal cord and brain injury.
